While group yoga classes can be healing and rejuvenating, yoga therapy uses specific tools to address a person's unique physical, mental, and emotional needs. These tools include (but not limited to): movement, breathwork, meditation, lifestyle design, goal setting, awareness practices, and more.
Yoga therapy is more than a sequence of physical postures, and anyone can experience the transformative practices of yoga whether you able to move a lot or a little. It is a safe way of working with the natural capacity of your body & mind to optimize well-being. While a public yoga class can ease aches and pains and lift your mood, a one-on-one or small group yoga therapy session can go much further because it is tailored to YOUR needs and goals.

Step 2: Schedule your first session!
During your consultation, I can help you schedule your first yoga therapy session. In that first session, we will dive deeper into your health history, present issues, and future goals. We will cultivate a plan of action that considers both where you are right now and where you want to be. This includes recommendations and referrals where needed.
Step 3: Karma Yoga--The Yoga of ACTION
After that first session, you will receive a 4-6 week holistic wellness plan with recommendations, practices, and treatments to support your goals. And I will provide ongoing support as you work through your plan.
Step 4: Follow Up Sessions
I meet with my clients every 4-6 weeks as they integrate their new practices and routines. This is to help adapt the plan, to add new practices and routines to further your goals, and to help you stay focused on your overall well-being and self-care.
