Heal the Healer. Change the System.
As a Gen X professional caregiver, you operate under immense chronic stress, often leading to burnout and compassion fatigue. Your body and mind are constantly in a state of high alert, sacrificing your well-being to serve others.
Yoga Therapy is the clinical, trauma-informed approach designed to reverse the effects of that chronic stress.
Since attaining my clinical yoga therapy certification, I have focused on helping women like you, those dedicated to demanding careers in caring, to heal their nervous systems, reclaim their energy, and build the inner resilience necessary not just to survive, but thrive in their essential work.
I specialize in integrating mind-body practices to address the physical, mental, and emotional fallout of professional caregiving:
Chronic Stress & Adrenal Fatigue
Anxiety & Emotional Dysregulation
Insomnia & Sleep Issues
Chronic Pain & Joint Health (Often stress-related)
Digestive Distress (IBS, Gut-Brain Connection)
Adult ADHD (Focus, calm, and nervous system stability)
Managing Midlife Transitions (Symptoms often worsen with stress)
I am here to help you reach your wellness goals. I offer in-person sessions through Lotus Care KC in Gladstone, MO, and virtual sessions for remote clients.
While a general group yoga class can be refreshing, Yoga Therapy is a highly personalized, clinical approach that uses specific, evidence-based tools to address your unique physical, mental, and emotional needs as a professional working under chronic demand.
It is much more than physical poses. Your tailored plan may include:
Trauma-Informed Movement and Sequencing
Specific Breathwork (Pranayama) to Regulate the Nervous System
Guided Meditation and Deep Relaxation Techniques
Mindfulness and Awareness Practices
Holistic Lifestyle Design and Goal Setting
Yoga Therapy is a safe, accessible, and powerful way of working with your body’s natural capacity to heal. Unlike a public class that offers general relief, a one-on-one or small group Yoga Therapy session is entirely customized to your health history and your specific goal: recovering from burnout and building durable resilience.
Yoga Therapy is an eligible medical expense for most HSA (Health Savings Accounts).
Virtual sessions are HIPAA compliant for maximum privacy and safety in your own home.

Your first session is 90 minutes. We dive deep into your health history, current stressors, and future goals. This session is a comprehensive assessment where we cultivate a personalized Plan of Action that considers your unique mind-body landscape. We will identify the root causes of your burnout and set clear, measurable goals for your healing journey. This includes recommendations and referrals where needed.
This is where the transformation happens. We meet weekly for 60 minutes to actively work through your personalized plan together. These sessions are dedicated to learning and practicing the specific movement, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques necessary to rewire your nervous system. You receive ongoing support, clear guidance, and accountability as you integrate these essential practices into your demanding life.
We consistently review your progress and adapt the plan as you integrate the new practices and routines. This ensures you stay focused on your long-term well-being goals and continue building your resilience, moving toward a state where you can sustain your career without sacrificing your health.
